a welcome back for myself

hah....
finally signed into my blog.... after a loooong break. i even forgot my blog name :P here im, at bangalore (35km from city, supposeedly not to be called a banglorean)doing my MBA at christ university. long time since i pen down my thoughts..., spent time time for myself.. here im... planning to live my life only for me... no thinking about anything else.
hah.. bangalore... fast moving city,... may be tats y they call it electronic city? cant see ppl showing concern for others.. everyone is busy fighting with their tight schedules... no time to see who is sitting beside us. fighting for life... running on a race.. the funniest is... almost 95% of the crowd doesn know wer they are heading towards.. funny life...
here i'm, amidst tis crowd... searching ... struggling... confused about wat i want in life..

GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT

GDP is one of the measures of national income of a country.It is the total value of all the products and services produced in the country .GDP can be measured in three ways though all are conceptually same. First, it can be measured as the expenditure of the final products and services produced in the nation during the stipulated period of time..Second, it can be measured as the market value of the product being produced, Third, it can be expressed as the sum of total income generated by the production during the period. Various factors that are involved in the measurement of GDP are Consumption, Investment, Net export, Expenditure of the government. Calculation of GDP can be expressed in the form of equation as

GDP= C+I+G+(E-I)
C-consumption,
I-Investment,
G- Government expenditure,
E-Export,
I-Import.
GDP is commonly measured in terms of expenditure. Various types of GDP and GDP growth are, 1.Current GDP- where GDP is expressed in terms of current prices of the period being measured. 2.Nominal GDP growth- expressed as increase in GDP and adjusted according to change in price. 3. Real GDP growth- Expressed as increase in GDP and adjusted according to change in price.GDP per captia would be used as the measure of standard of living. The major advantage of using GDP per captia as the measure of standard of living is that it is measured widely, frequently and consistently. Frequently in that in most countries GDP is measured quarterly basis, widely in that GDP is measured in almost all the country around the world, Consistently in that the technical definition used within the GDP are relatively consistent among the countries and there can be confidence that same thing is being measured in every country. The disadvantage of using GDP per captia as the measure of standard of living is that, strictly speaking, it does not actually measure the standard of living because it focuses only on a certain economic activity. For instance, consider a country exporting 100% of its production but no import can still manage to have a high GDP, but not good standard of living. The fact that supports the use of GDP is not that it indicates the standard of living but rather that increase in GDP per captia will definitely show an increase in the standard of living. Various alternatives to GDP are Human development Index (HDI), Genuine Progress Indicator (GPI), Gross National Happiness(GNH), etc..,

inaugural post!!!!

haah...!! finally created my blog...!! After thinking about it for so many days, i finally took an initiative.Yesterday while me and tra went for a stroll, she was giving me some ideas to spend time interesting and usefully.This is one among those. I was intially very hesitant to start because i'm very bad at drafting skills. That you can very well make out from the post, any ways i have heard someone saying that, everything comes only by practice, so i'm here. This is just a portal to throw my feelings. You can't expect all technical stuffs here, since I'm just gonna write what ever i feel like. This is mainly to improve my drafting skills. So friends if you find any mistake do tell me, it will definitely be useful to me. :) When it comes to people who motivated me to write, i should definitely say about vats, she is the one who kept insisting me to take an initiative, thank you vats, and you too tra...!!!And this thumps up image is for me... :P
